Front Porch Hoodoo is a monthly community conversation where we gather to talk honestly about Hoodoo, rootwork, and the traditions that shaped it. This space is for respectful learning, open discussion, and sharing foundational knowledge about the culture, history, and spiritual practices of Hoodoo.

Hoodoo is a closed cultural practice rooted in the experiences, survival, and spiritual traditions of African American ancestors in the United States. Because of this, this space is intended for those who feel genuinely aligned with the tradition, who may have ancestral ties, or who feel a sincere calling to learn with respect and integrity.
